Stanley Black & Decker has signed a licensing agreement with VIKING ARM, resolving the parties’ patent disputes relating to Stanley Black & Decker’s Stanley Fatmax Tradelift, DeWalt Construction Jack and Irwin Quick-Lift
Stanley Black & Decker and Viking Arm settled all patent disputes involving Viking Arm’s construction jack patents and Stanley Black & Decker’s Stanley Fatmax Tradelift, DeWalt Construction Jack and Irwin Quick-Lift.
With the settlement, the parties agreed to withdraw all proceedings in UPC, EPO, and USPTO.

The company is situated in the suburbs of Oslo in Norway. Company Viking Arm AS owns intellectual property rights relating to the VIKING ARM™ tool marketed and sold by Viking Arm AS and its’ official distribution partners and resellers.
The VIKING ARM tool is protected by the international patent WO2019/160424 and WO 2020/209731.
Viking Arm had a turnover of NOK 65 million with a result of NOK 10 million in 2023.
