PLEASE READ BEFORE USE – SAFETY INSTRUCTION
- Do not attempt to lift objects which are not properly fitted on the bars.
- When lifting an object never place any part of your body under the object.
- Always ensure that the lifted object is secured properly and is made stable prior to any operations under the object.
- When working with Viking Arm, please ensure its safe operation.
- Do not overload your Viking Arm. This may cause injury and damage your tool.
- Use your Viking Arm on a non-slip and stable surface to keep it from slipping or secure the base plate with screws.
- The misuse of Viking Arm in work settings may cause injuries and damage your tool.
- Make sure that you know how to operate the Viking Arm for the task at hand.
- Do not leave Viking Arm unused around the work area. This represents a tripping and falling hazard. Never leave your Viking Arm unsecured when climbing a ladder or working at heights.
- Choose an angle that allows work to be performed with a straight wrist.
- Wear personal protection equipment (appropriate gloves, eye protection, safety shoes).
- Excessive lubrication of Viking Arm can lead to loss of friction under load and, consequently, to an uncontrolled full release that may cause injury and damage. Just apply a couple of drops of technical oil to the Lock & Releasemechanism. Spread the lubricant by moving the tool’s body up and down along the shaft and then wipe the shaft with a clean rag.
