Modern treated timber is also more corrosive to metal fasteners. In the presence of moisture, this can trigger a galvanic reaction that accelerates corrosion. The tape acts as a barrier, helping protect screws, connectors, and joist hangers.

The high-performance butyl adhesive conforms to the surface and self-seals around screws, creating a watertight, long-lasting bond.

Optimized 50 mm width: designed to protect the top surface where water accumulates—without wrapping excessively down the sides. This allows the wood to breathe and dry naturally.
